Fundraising goal: $5,000
This year as our annual campaign season launches, we are so grateful for 11 years of amazing leaders taking part in the program. Our mindset is centered around ensuring the opportunity is available for 11 MORE years and beyond. From Day 1, the mission of Leadership South Dakota has been to connect with and further develop leaders from every corner of the state. The need for scholarships is critical to foster this diversity of voices and participants in the Leadership South Dakota program. Knowing this, the focus of the annual giving campaign is to increase scholarship funds in order to live out our mission and build for the next generation of SD leaders.
All funds raised will be utilized for these three key areas:
- Scholarships for course participants (40%)
- Travel and lodging stipends for course participants (40%)
- Alumni activities (20%)
Thank you for being so supportive of the Annual Giving Campaign. Last year, we surpassed our goal and raised over $41,000 to support our mission of Building the Next Generation of Leaders. Because of our alumni and friends of the program's generosity, nine students in our current class received assistance and scholarship funds.
